Roney Plaza Hotel (Miami Beach, Fla.), 1929 April 9.
The Roney Plaza Hotel was built in 1926, and located at 2301 Collins Avenue. The tower design was based by the Giralda Tower in Seville, Spain. The Giralda Tower also was the model for the Biltmore Hotel tower in Coral Gables and the Freedom Tower. The Roney Plaza was demolished in 1968.
