Miami International Map Fair
The first weekend of February, the Miami International Map Fair takes place at the Historical Museum. Map dealers and aficionados from the four corners of the world come out to browse and buy antique maps. Find out more

Historic Tours with Dr. George
Want to take an interesting guided community tour to learn about the history of Miami? Well, jump on board with HMSF’s historian Dr. Paul George as he recounts stories and tells you little-known facts about various topics of Miami history. From walking and bike tours to boat and coach tours, Dr. George has a variety of historic tours to choose from.
Is the ecosystem and history more your style? Then an eco-history tour with our eco-historian Frank W. Schena is what you are looking for. Frank’s tours also range from walking tours to Tour season runs from September – June each year. Find out more
Tropical Explorer Camps
Spring Break, Summer, Winter and Teacher Planning Days)
A camp for every season, from winter break camp to summer break camp and all teacher work days in between with Discovery Day Camps.
Children must be between the ages of 6-12 to participate.
Over Night Camp-Ins
During an overnight learning adventure inside the museum gallery, campers have fun while learning about South Florida history.
