Tropees (Tropical Pioneers)
The Tropical Pioneers (Tropees) are a dynamic group of young professionals dedicated to supporting the mission of the Historical Museum through social events, community projects and volunteer service. Each year, Tropees host events and programs with historical themes to generate awareness and appreciation for the fascinating past and dynamic present of South Florida and the Caribbean. Tropees also raise funds to support the museum's exhibitions, educational programs and community outreach.
As a Tropee, you will be a member of the Historical Museum and become a part of history yourself, as we help build a better future for South Florida by understanding the past and linking it to the present. Benefits of a Tropee membership include:
