South Florida is one of just 11 areas chosen by the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission for a series of community-wide events celebrating the life and achievements of our most revered President. In keeping with Lincoln’s legacy of unity, we seek to bring our neighbors together for open discussion and fresh understanding – to take up the “unfinished work” Lincoln courageously confronted in his lifetime.
