Caribbean Community
The Inter-American Center Authority commissioned architect Harry Weese to design the Caribbean community for Interama. As in the other complexes of the International Area, each house was to contain greeting and reception spaces and an information center; living quarters for a resident commissioner and family; dormitories for resident student guides; a library, study and reading room; a salon for small gatherings, and a dining room and lounge.
