See the famous Miami Circle archaeological site near the mouth of the Miami River. Witness the colorful tugboats, Haitian freighters, houseboats and drawbridges that bring life to the river. Discover the lesser-known Miami River communities, parks, restaurants, freshwater springs and the site of the rapids. Possibly see manatees along the way, while hearing about Miami’s early history.
