Meet new people and give back to your community. Become a docent at the Historical Museum!
Docents are an essential part of our museum family. Your support helps us continue to fulfill our mission of telling the stories of South Florida and the Caribbean, and to build a better future.
Being an expert on South Florida and Caribbean history is not required. Unlimited docent opportunities are available for high school students, college students, graduate students, working adults and retired seniors.
Benefits of being an HMSF Docent:

Requirements:
- Must be at least 14 years of age to be a junior docent and commit 3 hours.
- Must be 16 years of age to be a docent and commit 5 hours.
