Internships
Limited opportunities for high school and college students are available for internships at the Historical Museum of Southern Florida. Student interns will have opportunities to improve their leadership, professional, learning, communication and interpersonal skills. Internships are unpaid and no living accommodations are provided. Two stipends are available each year.
Program Requirements:
- Must be a high school or college student
- Must be able to commit to a six, eight, or twelve week term
- Must be able to work some weekends
Application Requirements:
- Your current resume, field of interest, and desired internship dates
- Submission of grade transcript
- A letter of recommendation from a faculty member stating why you would be a good candidate for an internship
- Submit an essay of 500 words or less on: “Why I want this internship and why I should be selected.”

Internships may be available in other areas of the museum as well, including volunteer management, the museum store, etc.
